Job Description
The Business Analyst defines, implements web-based systems and applications. Duties include collect relevant data to develop and maintain service/client requirements, manage customer requests/expectations, provide solutions to clients that fit their needs and provide training to end-users.
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
-Must be able to work well in teams and independently within cross-functional teams
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Strong problem solving, business analysis and quantitative skills. Capable of proactive efforts in seeking solutions to problems.
-Strong general skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
-Working experience in writing detailed system specifications
-Experience within IT organization
-Project and account management experience
-Experience with implementation of web-based systems and applications
-Desire to take on responsibilities, leadership and ownership of projects
-Network Experience is an asset
-Retail Experience is an asset
-Experience with JAVA, Flash, DHTML, XML, CSS, CS2 is an asset
-Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
