| Job Description
The PHP WEB Programmer is responsible for implementing and maintaining e-commerce software products that can be integrated into various system enterprise applications. The selected candidate will participate in the entire software development life cycle for the enterprise class business applications. This position requires the ability to design, develop and implement leading edge solutions that will meet the customer's needs.
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
· Must be able to work well in teams and independently
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Must be able to work in a customer-focused, team-based organization
· Experience in developing high volume, transaction oriented web applications
· Experience developing web applications in PHP, HTML, Macromedia Flex, Flash, AJAX, and/or ActionScript · Experience with CSS. Must be able to demonstrate effective uses of CSS and style inheritance
· Experience with database servers. Must understands web site file organization and web site performance tuning concepts
· Experience with ERP systems like Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP, and JD Edwards is an asset
· Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and DreamWeaver is an asset
· Experience with ColdFusion, XML, CS2 is an asset
· Able to work on a PC platform · Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
